what is it about classic rock?

My favorite online stream comes from Q 104.3. I listen to it at work when my ipod dies.
Why do they have a link to their "babe of the day"?

Has Classic Rock turned to objectifying women in order to promote itself?
I suppose metal and hard rock have always wanted a sexy edge, but this seems incongruous to their 1965-75 collection.

24 Blog

last night's episode was a real cliff-hanger, I agree. But the comments on Fox's 24 site reveal how bad my company is as a 24 fan

Cognitive Errors

My therapist and I discussed 5 cognitive errors that patients requiring behavioral therapy often experience:

Overgeneralizing

Catastrophizing

Dichotomous Thinking (Everything is Black and White)

Selective Abstraction (Only failures, mistakes matter)

Assuming Temporal Causality (If true before, it will be true again)

It's Black and White for Grey's Anatomy

according to one cynic:

i watched grey's anatomy tonight with tam and i'm surprised you and jayme like it so much--is it more than just a supersaccharine sex in the city which happens to take place in a surprisingly functional hospital ward? the episode we watched had a disgustingly long--i think it bridged a commercial break?--mournful pop track session filled with a moist eye montage, slow thoughtless close-ups on unsympathetic, skilless minority actors. boo hoo you silly interns, stop fucking each other is what i say.

The camera in our lab

Normally used to photograph western blots and gels, I found a new use for the camera today.
Rebecca and Esra are Pediatric Infectious Disease Fellows who work in my lab. As if there's any question why I spend so much time at work.

Welcome

As the prospect of leaving town for the next four years slowly becomes a reality, it is important that I establish a meaningful way to channel the micron of creativity and criticism that I have left. Bonjour, "Tournez a gauche". This is Normandy's answer to myspace.com.
